Police have decided against pursuing a criminal vandalism case against Jessica Alba over some posters that were plastered around downtown Oklahoma City. "The decision has been made to close the case," Police Sgt. Gary Knight said in a statement. "The case will not be presented to the district attorney's office."

Police Sgt. Gary Knight said none of the owners of property on which the posters were placed wanted to press charges against Jessica Alba, who has apologized. Police never interviewed the 28-year-old co-star of the "Fantastic Four" movies, "Sin City and "Good Luck Chuck." Jessica Alba is in Oklahoma City shooting a movie, "The Killer Inside Me."

"I got involved in something I should have had no part of," Jessica Alba said in a statement last week. "I realize that I should have used better judgment, and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign."

Police Sgt. Gary Knight said it is typical not to pursue vandalism charges when property owners don't want to prosecute.
